      About

"Wildness" as a concept, has been oft-explored in modern Western art, from The Troggs all the way back to a foppish poet named Oscar. None of this, of course, has anything to do with Australian musical group THE WILD THINGS. They've made a record called AT THE CROSSROAD. It has acoustic instruments, electric instruments, memorable melodies, choruses, and rich harmonies - y'know, all the things people used to put in their songs before "witch house" became a thing. THE WILD THINGS are old souls. Their influences reach back to the infancy of rock-n-roll. They just want you to have a good time, while they build up an honest and affecting body of work. They think the blogosphere is where you find global warming. The band, its management, their immediate dependents and various pets invite you to attend as many of THE WILD THINGS's-es upcoming tour dates as you can, and to buy all of their products at least twice. http://www.thewildthingsband.com
