Artist:Winchester

Winchester formed many years ago through a common love of goon and jumping around. Our sound has been described as being like "a student party in a haunted house (...) the same haunted house owned by Jimmy Page on the shores of Loch Ness" and "a clown car being hit by a train, but instead of dying everyone just has a really good time". We are influenced by old 2Tone bands like the Selecter and the Specials, along with modern jumpy-girl-pop-rock bands like the Grates and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Our debut CD "Pub?" was released in a huge backyard party in 2009.
