The Melbourne band, Wingman began with Dean Todorovski (guitars/vocals) and Brett Little (guitars/vocals/keyboard) performing as an acoustic duo. They were soon joined by Mitch Day (bass) and Carl Digiglio on drums. On Dean’s release from a false jailing ordeal in Laos for trumped up trafficing charges; which he has been cleared completly of and granted an official pardon by the King of Laos, the boys realised that life is too short and stormed in the studio to extract this morsel of awesomeness from their souls. “It was a life changing experience” says Dean. The boys liken their debut release to getting a big tattoo or being initiated into a tribe. "You only get one chance to release your first album and we’re about to put it into orbit." Their style encompasses classic rock, hard rock and elements of metal; with their use of blistering solos, catchy riffs and high energy drums which is finely balanced with some emotive rock ballads; using piano and acoustic guitars.
