Wiseheimer are characterised by fast drumbeats and catchy harmonies, our style is distinctly original and enjoyed by people of all ages. Our songs offer social commentary, as well as personal themes with lyrics composed by Jake and Heath. Our influences are bands like NOFX, Lagwagon, Propaghandi and Pulley. We are self-managed and have played loads of gigs, largely at local pubs, where we have developed a fan base over the 10 years that we have been involved in Newcastles alternative music scene. Headlining gigs with many up and coming bands and supporting international acts like Lagwagon, Pulley, Against Me, No Use For A Name and Frenzal Rhomb! “Industrial Retribution” is the long awaited second release following in the footsteps of our first album “None The Wiser”, it is a fast-paced, melodic album with an emphasis on catchy vocals.
