Ever since he was young, Xavier Dunn has been a non-stop creative machine. As well as producing and writing for many local artists such as Jack River, GRAACE, Peking Duk, KLP, Fergus James, and Sarah Wolfe, Dunn has amassed over 39 Million streams off of his own solo work. As a brother to four working musicians, all born and raised by music teacher parents, Dunn’s musical bloodline is robust. Growing up in Dubbo, days were filled with piano lessons, string ensembles and family jams. There was a constant soundtrack of Elton John, Billy Joel, and Queen spinning in the background, but these days his musical inspiration comes from artists such as Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, and Asgeir. Aside from his own successful self-titled solo project, Dunn’s skill’s as a songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist have already cemented him as an industry heavy-weight.
