Bio

Since the age of 9, Yasmine Hosseini has been a part of the world of music, first learning violin and then picking up guitar years later. Largely inspired by the Beatles at first, she began recording with Garageband and fiddling around with recording music and doing covers.

This has been her hobby since she was 13, now progressing into producing her own music with a humble home studio. She is influenced by new and old artists such as David Bowie, Leonard Cohen and Twin Peaks and enjoys a wide range of music. Since the start of this year she has published her music online and busked at various locations around Perth.

Yasmine has a versatile sound and her music carries out a chill vibe, with folk influences.

Album #2 in the works right now.

Great sounds Yasmine! There's an almost Sharon Van Etten quality - the way these tracks swell. Getting some great shoegazey-esque elements in here too. You're onto something!

I'll chime in to say 25 seconds into the song and I'm all aboard The Sunshine Express. I like the vocal style and the wind chimes!! #needsmorewindchime

My lil jaw dropped when the beat kicked in. If you want something to listen to on a sunny Sunday, I'd pick this.
