Brisbane alt-rock three piece Yeti Ghetto started as a series of late-night laptop recording sessions in an overcrowded and chaotic share house in North-West London. The circumstances and equipment were makeshift, but the songs are timeless.
Showcasing their knack for a sing-along chorus, cheeky tropical guitar riffs, and tongue in cheek perspective on the mundane nature of everyday life, “New Love” is a powerful track that reminds us to love in the face of fear and self-doubt.
Naturally, Yeti Ghetto brandish influences as their unique and vibrant D.I.Y sound finds inspiration in quintessential 90’s Britpop, early Weezer, The Pixies, and Elliott Smith.
“New Love” is the latest single release for Yeti Ghetto, with their much awaited debut full-length album JINX scheduled to be released early October.
