Yollks is the moniker hatched by Melbourne based musician and producer, Elle Tayla. Valuing the importance of intuition and intimate connections, these factors are reflected within Elle’s work through her commanding vocal prowess and deliberate delivery. Drawing inspiration from UK Garage and House music, Elle has constructed her own realm within the music scene whereby a unique blend of progressive, minimalist industrial beats meets with ethereal, emotive storytelling. Making her first crack into the scene in 2016, her debut single ‘Return to Sender’ earned her praise from tastemaker blogs, Pilerats and Purple Sneakers. The track immediately put her on notice after receiving airplay on triple j’s Good Nights and has since been featured on Synth Babe Records’ Vol. 1 compilation.
