Artist:The Yorke Band

Formed in 2015, The Yorke Band met while studying at Adelaide University's Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music where founding members Zakari, Ben and Caleb were studying. They began bringing original songs about identity crisis, substance abuse and family structures that had affected them. Coming from large indigenous families, the boys wanted to share the positive experiences in overcoming these issues with their community to empower young indigenous kids to dream big.
