Hailing from Brisbane, Queensland, The Young Art! (Originally from Cairns, FNQ) have been exploring sounds, writing music and performing at each and every opportunity that comes their way. Since their early friendship as schoolmates at the age of 13, the bands unique style has slowly evolved from the early days of gleaming pop rock into a very mature and organic blend of alternative, folk, rock and indie sounds.

The Young Art! effortlessly stand out with their own spin of delicate acoustic textures, ambient sounds and cinematic builds, winning the hearts of their followers with their fresh melodies, honest lyrical expressions and the way they engage with their instruments, each other and their audience.

2014 brought exciting new music collaborations with several artists from the North QLD region. The band had been busy recording 13 new tracks in the studio with engineer/producer Mark Myers (The Middle East, Emma Louise) recording their debut album with special guests Emma Louise, Kahl Wallace (The Medics), The Mcmenimans, Mark Myers (The Middle East) and Mitchel Cave. Debut album 'Silvers Gold' is now available on iTunes & Spotify. The band is currently working on their first EP set to be released early 2016, in lead up to their second Album.

The past year has seen the band perform a number of times with both supports and headlining events, including touring with Birds of Tokyo across North QLD, supporting Wolfmother, Sheppard, Belligerents, Eskimo Joe, Gomez, The Wolfe Brothers, Ayla, British India and performing on Main Stage at Carve It Up festival with Bluejuice, Ball Park Music and The Jungle Giants.

With a global following growing rapidly every week, the young four piece are keen to keep pushing their musical horizons to deliver fresh sounds and a killer live show.
