Born in the Congo, now living in Melbourne, Australia, Espoir Muderwa, aka Ezy, is a talented 18 y/o rappper, songwriter and hip-hop dancer. From a young age, was surrounded by a range of music, including r’n’b, pop, dancehall, reggae, jazz, soul and soukous, but his passion was Hip-Hop. Ezy dreamed of someday becoming a performer himself so it’s no surprise that by age 14 his love for hip-hop music and dance led him to the stage. He began writing, recording and performing through various youth music programs in Melbourne’s West and Shepparton, such as Fresh Mob2 and Rap 3021, where he was mentored by Melbourne hip-hop duo Diafrix, and soon developed a unique style of his own. Influenced by artists like hip-hop artists like Kendrick Lamar, as well as by more commercial artists like A$AP Rocky and Lil Wayne, Ezy has a confidence and presence on stage rarely seen in such a young artist.
