Young Poets is an Australian Rock band from Melbourne. Formed by front man Tj Alcaniz in 2013, the band consists of Tj (Vocals & Guitar) Jay Reid (Drums), Bryce Buxton (Bass) and Chris Hepworth (Lead Guitar). Since 2013 the band has performed headline shows all around Melbourne and are beginning to make a name for themselves as a band to lookout for. Following the release of their single ‘Wanna be right’ last year. Young Poets were rewarded with a lot of new fans, a few packed out shows and a decent amount of air time. The boys are now back with their new Single ‘So Ashamed’. Coming along way from their last release, this song is filled with powerful messages and moments that really keep you listening and wanting more. A song with a lyrical message that hits the heart and a vocal performance that feels every word.
