Bio

Melbourne four-piece Youngs release their most considered
single to date, ’Serasan Shakes’. Recorded by Anna Laverty (Meg Mac) and mastered by Andrei Eremin (Japanese Wallpaper) the song is a heart-wrenching depiction of love, loss and memories of times past set to a tremulating, frenetic beat juxtaposed with soothing pads and keys.
The band commissioned Melbourne designer Jack Vanzet (aka Thrupence) to create the artwork for the single, opting for a dramatic Greek sculpture in his elucidation, “I’ve tried to visualise what I see in the track. The intimacy of the Greek statue speaks true to how I’ve interpreted the song.”
Youngs are currently hard at work developing a new live show in collaboration with acclaimed visual artist Meat Sauce (Urban Attitude) with dates to be announced shortly.

These guys have progressed plenty since I last heard them. Got an impressive and ambitious vision of the way they want to make music.

Intricate and pretty without sacrificing punch, not unlike Dwayne Johnson WWE titlefight. I can smell what The Rock is cookin'.
