Bio

After forming in late 2015, Zen Panda have successfully stamped their name into the pot of artists to watch from South Australia. 2016 saw the band support the likes of Last Dinosuaurs, The Jungle Giants, Moses Gunn Collective, The Belligerents and local SA heroes, West Thebarton Brothel Party. The band sold out their first headline show at hometown venue 'Jive' launching their first single ‘Cute Hand Touch in the Nutbowl’. ‘Prior Arrangement’, their second release, is a taste of the band's slower side; it was followed by their funk/psych/jazz blender 'Ego', the final single from a forthcoming debut EP. Expect more from the band in 2017, with new music and tour dates on the horizon.

“a very ethereal, instrumental build that had the whole room engaged and mesmerized in their slick trance. With some very well developed and confident vocals, the energy sweating off the band was infectious”. – The Music

"Oh boy, we haven't felt this funky in such a long time. These psychedelic fellas graced the stage with their stellar set. If we had to describe it to you in any way it would be like a mash of Two Door Cinema Club, Sticky Fingers and Tame Impala all in one". – This Is Radelaide

"Their impressive set captivated the attention of the crowd from the very start of the night. After building a local and loyal fan base, Zen Panda have brought with them from the Fleurieu Peninsula jazzy, jangled riffs that surfed smoothly along steady-tempo build-ups and funk influenced bridges. These five lads are sure to make waves well beyond their home turf on Fleurieu Peninsula". – YEWTH

Yet another delicious track! Reverbed, delayed, melodic tastiness!
