Bio

Since birthing on the Fleurieu coast, Zen Panda have stamped their name into the pot of artists to watch from South Australia. The six brothers and sister have formed their own cross-genre blend that honestly represents their varied musical backgrounds. This has been proved in their adaptability through live performance, with an energetic and entertaining stage show.

Zen Panda have had the pleasure of supporting Last Dinosaurs, D.D Dumbo, The Jungle Giants, Kirin J Callinan, Andy Bull, The Belligerents, Body Type and local SA heroes West Thebarton to name a few. The band's most recent video clip 'Wet Fish' has been featured throughout February on Rage, showcasing the groups wayward humour on their home turf. After having sold out headline shows across Adelaide over the past two years, Zen Panda have another trail of releases set to roll out 2018.

Famously nostalgia is meant to be a bittersweet emotion in that it's a sadness about a happy time you'll never experience again and I'm getting some of that happy/sad coming through this one.

Oh woah, I didn't know John Lennon era 67-71 was on the curriculum of all Adelaide schools. It's good though, and transcends my prosaic labeling by the time it's done.
