Bio

Zig Zag are half garage rock extremists, half disco junkie night cats,
swinging these contradictions in the air, careless and free and flaming
with pride. As a collective of queers, Zig Zag embraces experiences of
pain and trauma with camaraderie and optimism. Zig Zag build catchy riffs around expressive lyrics, burning up the dance floor with anthemic angst. It’s punk, it’s celebratory, it’s cathartic, it’s yours. The only thing it’s not is straight.

Do Better is the second release by Zig Zag available on 7" vinyl with b-side Sorry.
Pre-sales available now via bandcamp ahead of offical release on October 9th.
The band will be launching the single with an online variety show special. Head to their facebook page for event details.

Do Better and Sorry were recorded and mixed with nurturing love and camaraderie at Love Shack studios by Jessicca Bennett with support from Rachel Sztanski
Mastered by the masterful Aden Senycia at Love Shack studios
Released with endless support and guidance by Kurt Eckardt and Kalindy Williams via Psychic Hysteria

Zig Zag work and play on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and a treaty was never signed. This always was and always will be aboriginal land.

Baits you in with that sexy riff in the beginning then elevates to this robust narrative. ZIG ZAG have legs and they're running circles round anyone who comes near. I wouldn't turn down a ticket if it were on the cards.
