Nineteen-year-old Zoe Quinn is an emerging folk-pop singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Brisbane, Australia. Since releasing her debut EP “Hearts On Sleeves”, and single “Strange World”, in 2020, she has gone on to grace stages at festivals and events across South East Queensland. She has performed at Woodfordia, appeared on the line up for Redcliffe Festival of Sails, performed at Hills Festival and Anywhere Festival and as part of The Sound Society at Southbank Parklands. In coming months she will be appearing at Redcliffe KiteFest and Caboolture Festival.
Zoe has distinctive vocals filled with soul and passion that resonates from deep within her. Her songs are accompanied with the alluring power of her guitar playing which can be vigorous and bold and at other times have a sense of sweetness and fragility.
Zoe began playing guitar and singing at age five and made regular cameo appearances on Woodford stages from age eight. She was booked to make her debut festival appearance at The Planting Festival at Woodfordia in May 2020 and had planned to release her first song there on her eighteenth birthday. Covid put an end to that. With all her gigs cancelled for the next several months, she focussed on recording her debut EP “Hearts On Sleeves”, which was recorded at Airlock Studios in Brisbane, and released in August.
