A bunch of amazing acts from across the world and all over Australia are heading to Phillip Island for the Pyramid Rock festival over New Years Eve, running from December 29 to January 1.
Here is who is on the line up so far:
Scissor Sisters, The Living End, Gotye, Grandmaster Flash, Boy & Bear, Drapht, Spiderbait, Cloud Control, Bluejuice, Muscles, Spank Rock, The Panics, Lyrics Born, The Herd, Dum Dum Girls, Illy, Salmonella Dub, Bertie Blackman, Jonathan Boulet, Ash Grunwald, Hanni El Khatib, The Bamboos, Calling All Cars, Grace Woodroofe, Graveyard Train, Tim & Jean, The Aston Shuffle, Jim Ward, Thundamentals, Owl Eyes, Split Seconds, French Horn Rebellion and Rockwiz Live with heaps more still to be announced.
And if you live in Victoria, Pyramid Rock and triple j Unearthed are offering one act the opportunity to take the stage and herald in 2012 as part of the line up with VIP camping and $500 performance fee.
To be in the running you just need to have your tracks uploaded (pending or live) on the site before Sunday 23rd October 2010 - midnight, and have VIC selected as your state. Don't worry if your tracks are still pending, we'll listen to everything before we decide.
Pyramid Rock is back, running from Weds 29 December until Saturday 1 January. As usual, it'll be held on Phillip Island off the Mornington Peninsula, 140kms out of Melbourne.
Headliners include hip hop superstars N*E*R*D, Canadian electro duo Chromeo, English indie lads Mystery Jets and local acts Xavier Rudd, Gyroscope, Little Red and Miami Horror. A couple of legendary acts are also on the bill - seminal indie rock band Built To Spill and 90s hip hop collective Arrested Development.
And if you live in Victoria, Pyramid Rock and triple j Unearthed are offering one act the opportunity to take the stage and herald in 2011 as rock stars when you take the stage to open the festival.
