Soundwave is looming large on the horizon yet again. This year, the festival’s stopping in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, and stretching across two days to accommodate heavy hitting heroes like Slipknot, Faith No More, Soundgarden and the Smashing Pumpkins!

triple J Unearthed and Soundwave are offering the amazing opportunity for one artist to join the massive Soundwave bill in each state the festival’s being held in. All you’ve gotta do to be in the running is to 1) be a total mosh lord and 2) have your best tracks uploaded to http://www.triplejunearthed.com by Feb 8th. It's fine if your tracks are still pending – we’ll listen to all songs uploaded before deciding.

SOUNDWAVE 2013 is back with arguably it's biggest year yet, with Metallica set to headline the 2013 festival 30 years after the release of their debut album Kill 'Em All. They join Blink 182, Slayer, Garbage, Cyprus Hill and scores of other amazing acts all heading across the country in February and March.
