The UNIFY Gathering is returning in 2020 and look, to kick off a new decade of festivals, this one is going to be large.

Across one sublime January weekend, the likes of Architects, Northlane, The Ghost Inside, Make Them Suffer, Silverstein, Polaris and more are going to be shreddin', and we want your band there.

It's simple, really! If you hail from Victoria and dish up some hectic metal, punk or rock sounds, enter our competition to join the Class of 2020 as our annual triple j Unearthed UNIFY comp winner!

Make sure you've got your best songs uploaded to Unearthed before midnight, November 24th. All metal, punk and rock acts from Victoria will be in the running!

All entries are listened to and considered by Unearthed, so even if your track is appearing as 'pending' by the deadline, we've still got it clocked.

2019

Get your act together if you're a Victorian punk, metal or rock band because we're looking to add one of you to the UNIFY 2019 lineup!

The festival is hitting Gippsland in Januaray and the bill promises that it'll be a solid time. Karnivool, Underoath, Taking Back Sunday, Trophy Eyes & In Hearts Wake are just some of the acts that are gonna be shredding the stage. 

So if you wanna join them, make sure you've got your best songs up on Unearthed before midnight on the 13th of Januaray. All punk, metal and rock acts from VIC will be in the running! 

Please don't freak if you've uploaded your song and it's still "pending" after the comp closes. It doesn't matter if it's waiting to be approved, you still made the deadline so you're in with a shot just like everyone else!

Now go smash it! We're looking forward to hunting for our champion.

2018

The UNIFY Gathering is bringing a lineup full of killer heavy acts to Gippsland to kick off 2017, and we're looking for ONE band to join the bill.

Our comp winner will join Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, Architects, Tonight Alive, Hands Like Houses, Behind Crimson Eyes, 50 Lions and a bunch of others at the festival next January, bringing the Metal, Punk or Rock tunes uploaded to their Unearthed profile to the masses.

To be eligible, you need to have your tracks up on Unearthed by October 22nd, and be from Victoria. We'll consider all submissions pending before we make a decision - so even if your track is pending on the site when the comp closes, don't stress out. You're still in the running.

2016

Cool news, heavy hitters! We're looking for one act to put on the lineup for the second ever Unify Gathering in 2016.

The bill for the two-day event is stacked: Parkway Drive, In Hearts Wake, Tonight Alive, State Champs, heaps more. And if you're from Victoria and you've got either rock, punk, or metal selected as your genre on your Unearthed profile, you could be the next name on that list. 

All ya need to do to be in the running is have your best tunes up on your Unearthed profile by December 6th.

If you've uploaded and your tracks are still pending on December 6th, don't freak out - we listen to everything that gets uploaded before we make a decision. Cool? Cool. Good luck!
