The laidback groove of Day Off is deceiving - these lyrics are clever as hellllll. I have no clue how you figured out how to make 'borders', 'coffee', 'noggen' and 'consciousness' rhyme - next level stuff! The sax is a real nice touch too. Your creativeness is improving with every release, it's amazing to see you get better and better. A great track ...

OOOOOOFT! Pack a harder first punch, I dare ya! Would love to know where you've been hiding this gem, because this should be the starring piece of Adelaide's thrash punk crown. I can only imagine how much fun this would be live! Only critique is I'd love to hear the vocals a bit louder. This is brilliant!

I'm a big fan of the heavier edge you've added to your original pop punk sound! There's a real step up in the vocals and the whole band as a package is tighter than ever. This is right down my alley - solid stuff, fellas.

Ooh! That guitar melody! Reeeeal nice. The harmonies make the song feel full and the vocal tones are smooth. Upbeat instrumentals with sad lyrics is a combination many Adelaide artists are pulling off really well at the moment, and SG is one of them - this song makes me want to jump around and cry at the same time. Top stuff, team!

Just dropping by to add my voice to the chorus of reviewers who are in a puddle of tears after hearing this song. The way you portray such heartbreak and vulnerability not only in the lyrics but in the vocal and guitar lines as well is immaculate. You are something special, Ruby Gill. Please never stop making music.

Honey-like vocals and clean synths combine beautifully for this track - but that's no surprise, as it's something this project has always pulled off really well. Love the subtlety of the drums and the almost a capella bit at 2:51.

23/19 is the full package: heavy-hitting lyrics, tight instrumental parts, and a huge stage presence. these elements all combine to create the firestorm that is this song. "Just a coward with a gun at a knife fight" is one of my favourite lyrics of the year. Well done, fellas.

Well well well, what's this then?! Such a gentle, sombre opening which bursts into a big chorus that demands you listen to what Pemberton has to say. This song sounds like the feeling when you finally open up about something - gradual and hesitant, then a flood all at once. Getting some real The Hard Aches x Ceres vibes here. The little claps are a nice touch, too!

It's the moment we've all been waiting for: new Bec Stevens music! And it has been worth the wait. Bec's vocals are both rough and rich, a combination complemented by the gritty guitars and accentuated drums. This song is organised chaos which really represents a journey with many ups and downs that ultimately leads to a resolution where "these wounds will heal". Really...

Heck. I only came across you guys on the weekend at Field Good and I am obsessed. This is nothing like what I normally listen to but man, you can write a damn track!! I never thought I'd find a band that so seamlessly weaves saxophone into house music, but here we are. Keen to hear more from guys.

My favourite rock band has done it again! Grungy guitars and gang vocals make for a great song, no matter what it's about. This is kind of like if American Candy-era The Maine was a garage emo band and I am here for it.

Flawless sultry vocals from one of Adelaide's brightest stars. This track really keeps you on your toes, with the slow build exploding into the huge chorus before easing back into the lull of the verse and bridge. Production is tight, too - keen to see it translated into a live setting soon!

Really vibing this! Chorus is catchy as frickkkkk - I think I've annoyed everyone at work by repeating 'channel re-e-eddd' all day today. Your voice is a cool combination of sweet and badass - would love to hear the vocals a hint louder! Love your work Jaz x

Great follow-up release! Simple but effective. Guitar tone is reeeeally nice. Vocals remind me of a sweeter version of Trenton from Hands Like Houses. Enjoying this a lot.

FELLAS. This is LARGE. Everything is so deep and dark, but the contrasting vocals made my ears prick up and listen. The instrumental parts remind me of 'Colourblind' by Hands Like Houses. Would love to see y'all on the Unify lineup one day.

Wither's debut track is as impressive as the list of names that make up the band. Not one bit surprised that this is so damn good. It's 1.23pm on a Thursday and I'm sitting at my desk and I want to pit SO HARD RIGHT NOW.
