i’ve really enjoyed hearing this song evolve, and am especially fond of the final-cut aux percussion (way to go 90’s r&b triangle) + backing vox fragments that really fill out the mix. the rhythm section bop around so cooly; the horns drop in with that great hook; there’s that wonderfully sweet neo-soul / alt pop delivery that lingers so nicely; great solo & comping; and the rounded, balanced production that makes for such pleasant listening & really does justice this bands ability to blend both individual feel and unity. très groovy. plus they remain so constantly damn tight on that beat you can’t help but smile and move along with them. 10/10. :)
