Nick and Jay from Tame Impala popped by triple j Unearthed to let us know what Unearthed acts they're digging. From the blissful to the glitchy and the raucous, they had a lot of love to give.

This is a 2-piece band with 2 badass ladies. They're our bro-ettes. They're raucous, they wear fantastic headgear and they're a good mix of being totally feminine and totally macho on stage. They look like you could fall in love with them but they could potentially kick the shit out of you whenever they want. They rule. This great.

Joe Ryan is a friend, a bandmate, a Tame Impala roadie, a pro golfer and a sex addict. We listened to this every day before the Tame Impala shows in America. It's the most anthemic of the tracks on his album. I reckon it's because he's Irish and has the same DNA as Bono and The Edge. It's kinda weird to big up someone we know so well, but it's a completely amazing album...
