Tanya, wow. This is so great. Love the classic feel - has 'one of the best songs of the year' written all over it for me!

I love how you use your voice throughout this. It's like your phrasing and your tone structures the piece as opposed to your voice fitting in with the instrumentation etc. And that small little Janelle Monáe vibe at 1:25 that lasts all of 7 seconds is perhaps the greatest little break out sesh I've heard in a long time.

There are little hints throughout this. It's really unexpected and percussive but the more I listen, it's clear how much time you've put into constructing this. What a piece of work!

I'm here just for that lazy bass and kick at 0:56 and 2:05. And that groove, and those keys, and that voice. Actually, nah, you got me. I am here for all of this.

Apart from that relief at the 2:01 mark and again at 3:05, you hold so much back in this Georgia. Really ramps up the tension in the tune without having anything overtly anxious. You've created such a great tune as a result!

Wowee. Stevan, love the laid back production to this. And your voice, i mean, it's smoother than most voices i've heard. Full package here for me!

What a jaunt! So great to hear you kill, once again, Clypso. And jeez - what a bed for Kwame's astronomical verse. Gee whiz.

Really like how this isn't all sweet and all that. That jaunty chorus has this mood of apprehension to it all, but still sounds steady and confident.

There's a real nice subtle build to this. Love that staccato filtered synth lines that you've used throughout too - keeps the tension present right throughout.

This harks back to that Dick Diver/Twerps/Scott & Charlene's Wedding era of 5 or so years ago. It's such a good thing to hear that people haven't put that sound down either. For me though, gosh, it's those vocals. It's like an Australian love poem read out over this warm lazy guitar hug.

The more I listen to this, the more I hear in it. There are so many nice little details you've added that really give it this prolonged life.

Jack. As always, a beautifully introspective tune. Really love the band feel of this and the slight messiness of the time, especially in that opening. Been so great to see your work evolve!

This is one of those rare moments where I think a song is 'complete'. The way you step through perspectives is masterful, and then with Zoe's verses, it's like it comes round full circle. And that build is just great. The ramshackle of the drums and the warm guitar. I mean gee whiz, what a song!

There was a band from Melbourne called The Small Knives who had a brilliant record called Rain On Tin back in 2004. The melodies and guitar reminds me so much of that. I didn't hear this Americana influence in your earlier stuff, but gosh, now I do. It's really lovely Spirit Faces!

Who are you and what have you done with all of my tears?

Love the messy feeling you create with time throughout here - works beautifully.

This is stunning. Like, really gosh darn stunning.
