This song showcases NBF's continuing growth as musicians and songwriters. With Paralysed they have effectively fused fundamental elements of folk-rock, reminiscent of Neil Young at his peak, with modern pop sensibilities and production methods. Where others may have fallen victim to watering down the purity of their chosen style, NBF have succeeded by creating and uncovering something both relevant and revivalist. While there is a morose quality to the music there is also hope to be gleaned from the lyrics, and the singer should be lauded her their appropriately restrained delivery.

My favourite WoP song. A jazzy poppy melancholic banger with some beautiful falsetto and a really cool animated music video. As someone who hates Sydney, this song truly resonates with me and is the track on the album I keep coming back to. Very catchy in a sad relatable way.

Sometimes I have dreams where I sound this good. Struth! This track is smooth. Like Rob Thomas and Santana when they're 7 inches from the midday sun. If I wasn't such a coward, I'd walk barefoot from Canberra to Perth just to hear this live. You guys are good!

When you hear songs like this and find that they haven't been played on JJJ yet, you wonder - are the hurtful rumours of the J's inherit bias against the city of Canberra true? The fact that this song isn't yet on regular rotation points to the unfortunate reality that, perhaps they are. Non-support of this track is non-support of Canberra which is non-support of AUSTRALIA, and that's just not fair dinkum.

Smooth n' slick, grooviest thing out of Canberra since, I dunno, Groovin the Moo? This is the kind of track you put on at a party and people come up to you and say "hey, you're cool, this is cool, cool party, man," because it oozes so much cool, you're allowed to bathe in its residual coolness.

This is that smooth coastal vibe. The after-after-party. The comedown. Chilled, melancholic, introspective. These guys are so not ready to get Gonged off stage. The truth is, there's a lot of bands out there trying to rock this sound. And none of them are doing it as consistently powerfully as Tinderry. SWIPE RIGHT ON TINDERRY!

The fact that the Fripps boys are not already household names speaks only to a deeper conspiracy in the Australian music scene. Is it jealousy? Fear? Revenge for the obvious fact that the boys have all had consensual sexual relations with key industry tastemakers' respective spouses? Doesn't matter. They will prevail. You can't contain this talent. This song rocks, the EP itself ...

The ever-present boss of Canberra's glam/comedy/music scene shocks the state with yet ANOTHER banger. Endrey is the only person we've ever been jealous of and this song shows exactly why. Starting with a bassline that almost feels like a minor-chord version of the Sugarhill Gang's seminal hit "Rapper's Delight," rapper Citizen Kay does sure delight with his verse. The alternating panned digital high-hats and little vocal touches to the beat help birth the track to a shocking maturity, like a newborn comes out the womb already reading Chomsky.

P.S Lusitania is a British passenger ship, sunk by a German submarine in 1915? Deep cut.

We've loved these guys since they kept smashing us in Battle of the Bands' ten years ago. Plus, one time a gig got cancelled so we ended up going to their garage and performing at a last-minute street party. The way their sound has evolved is inspirational and they continue to reach to new heights. This track is a groovy little tune with a killer pop hook.

Lady Denman have a sweet, earnestness about them which makes them immensely listenable. The rumour around town is that they're all nice people. This track is a boppy tune with a nice building and catchy melodies that well encapsulates their style.

Clove are tough and scary and cool and well dressed. This track in particular has a mature vibe with some raw emotion, really cool guitar melody through the verses with a heavy hitting second half. Mark Jamieson's strong vocals help guide the track and really make you FEEL something.

Helluva track. Jedbrii brings the old school boom-bap vibes with a new-school funk and, unlike so many spitters, can actually rap. Real technical skills, but with a bit of melody. Dude can carry a flow, ride a vibe, and surf a mosh like nobody's business. I once saw him busting skateboard kickflips mid-set on a small stage. This song BANGS.

Drawing North's new rocking song! An inspiration to us all. These guys been kicking it wicked for a minute now, making all other Canberra bands feel incredibly lame by comparison. This song is, by my words, one of their best. Congrats, boys!
