Went to see her recently at the Northcote Social Club. Holy Jebus! If you think this tune is epic, she has an album on the way that is going to blow every other female artist out of the water. Her band is another big part of this, the arrangements are carried out with such force, yet such attention to detail that if they can all stay together, there won't be many better bands kicking around in Australia. In this song you hear hints of great singers/songwriters like Sia & Adele. Unrelenting power and child-like fragility. She plays with this beautiful line of sanity & reality (even though we all know she's mentally stable) like Sia that feels like a hand closing around your heart inside your chest. And then just bursts out with this power in the chorus that makes you want to tell everyone that shits you off to go get f****d. Brilliant

Always trying to break the rules into a 1000 pieces and stamp them into tiny little pieces, while retaining that radiant DX sound, this tune will stick in your head for all the right reasons. Great layers. Everything has its place. The production definitely reminds me of 'Since Last Wednesday', big rooms, epic drum and vocal sound, not to mention hooks for days. Big thumbs up.

Great vocal arrangement. Electronic sounds leave a little to be desired. But the song doesn't. It's fantastic. The vocals in the chorus just lift everything. It has this weird effect of making me believe that you can always come out the other side of tragedy with your head held high. Reminds me of the feeling you get when you listen to 'The Voice' by John Farnham.

Whoa, this is the best groove I've heard all year, and that's including the likes of Everything Everything, Jarryd James and Tame Impala from earlier this year. So clean and tight with such brilliant inflections. Really makes every instrument count. I hope to hear more of this one, definitely sharing this all around.

This song is the new definition of intense. I love how the strange progression and busy percussion in the first half just makes you feel unbalanced/dizzy. And then there's just this angelic change that let's you absorb what you've just heard. This is such a futuristic song. Genre and mind-bending. exceptionally well layered track. Just builds at a deceptive pace that lulls you into shutting out the world around you and the song wraps you you up and abducts you, and when that synth kicks in like an extra warm blanket you can't help but give in. All the vocals are top class and so well put together. Musicality here is off the charts.

I did the mix of minimalism and texture. Really well thought out song. It's a little reminiscent of Robert Delong. That clear effort that's been made to cross genres with a beautiful clarity not seen often. Great little tune that's going on the playlist.

So cool. What a groove. Vulfpeck comes to mind and a great little band that existed once upon a time call Le Kingste. Dark Pop at its best. I don't know whether these guys are still putting tunes together in this outfit, but wouldn't it be nice if they were. Big groove. Eerie sounds. Draws you in. Bloody ripper.

Simple, pretty, fragile at points yet strong in others. A little big of everything in this tune. I love how they mess with all the polyrhythmic stuff yet it just has this straight ahead pop sound that draws you a in. A little bit of complexity underneath some ethereal vocals. Thumbs up all round.

Whoa, I've heard this one acoustic live and it was spine tingling, what's been done in the studio with this is stunning to say the least. Beautiful layers, vocals and instrument choice crossing over folk with electronic, can't wait to hear more of what she's been doing.

Clever tune and catchy lines everywhere you look in the vocals & guitar. The video for this one is a ripper too! Check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilbdJqUl88U Clever kids. Look forward to more of this.

So frikkin pretty. No let's not sell it short...celestial, melancholic, extremely well put together song. One tune I will always say 'it's an oldie but a goodie' about.

Sal is a modern female Dylan, with far better pitch and tone. She tells her stories with such simplicity and gets you in with her little quirks in every song. The banjo and little lead up on the end of the chorus is just her all over, put this one on your list and keep it there.

Reminds me of the Beatles psychedelic phase. It's hard to make this style sound authentic in the modern age but this track is so well produced and layered that you just get hints of rock, electronic and the overall chill groove that psychedelia is known for.

Everything said about these two is true. They will leave a mark on any genre that dare come into contact with their steely gaze. Great chill out music for a Friday afternoon and blows the top off a good festival day. To call them an unstoppable force in electronica would be an understatement
