William is a prolific songwriter and by his own admission continues to perfect his craft. He has travelled extensively, previously relocating to Sydney and London where his musical journey continued as did his experiences and body of musical work. In his role as principle songwriter with Pharaohs Playground, William has recently written and recorded the album Many Hands (2012) as well as an as yet untitled 2013 - 12 track album. Pharaohs Playground releases aside - 2004 saw William record his debut solo album Coconut Milk containing 13 original tracks – an album that received local and national praise including airplay for the single- “Where is the Love”. Live shows with acts such as Joe Camilleri, Mike Thomas further cemented the strength of William’s material along with impressive live performances either with full band, solo or acapella. William then completed the EP Singalong before commencing his travels. William continued writing and upon his return to Brisbane recorded another full-length album under the moniker LEVON with long time Pharaohs Playground band mate Robert Penman. As one of Brisbane’s most underrated vocalists William continues to write, record and perform where possible – the ultimate aim being the ultimate song…if there is such a thing; he is the best-kept secret within a thriving Brisbane music scene. Praise for In Many Hands They (Pharaohs Playground) have made the best record of their lives….. A Stonesy/Black Crowes style groove – Noel Mengel Courier Mail
