It's been a long wait for new material from Surroundings, but it was well worth it! They do melodic hardcore as well as anyone, and this track perfectly encapsulates their sound. It's not far from perfect.

Refraction have posted some of the best djent on Unearthed. Love the vocals and guitar work in Auroras, and this relatively short track finishes with a bang.

An exceptional opening track to an exceptional album. Dave Anderton is one of the most talented vocalists in Australian heavy music, performing both clean and harsh vocals with aplomb. And he is backed by some very impressive musicians.

This band has improved so much since their earlier Unearthed tracks. There’s no Chad Ruhlig here, but there is plenty to like in Calvary. The groove and bounce is still there, but they’ve added some progressive elements, with a soaring chorus in this one, and some atmospheric sections.

Very impressive, atmospheric and heavy. Wouldn't be out of place on an After The Burial album. I really like the combined clean/harsh vocal sections, and the guitar work is top-notch throughout. And it's all capped off by a pretty epic final minute.
