I'm loving the sentiment of this track and the real garage element really adds to the punk vibe. Upfront, unapologetic and I'm all for this sound.

I regret how incredibly late to this wonderful party I am. Lyrically beautiful and truly bringing a new appreciation for the saying "music to my ears". I spilt coffee all down my shirt this morning and didn't even notice or care. Next level tune.

Immediate comparisons to Aussie indie-heavyweights the Jezabels, "Animals" is a beautifully atmospheric indie rock track. Building effortlessly, with so many wonderful yet complex and perfectly produced layers it had me hugging my headphones for more. Ceilings manage to layer aspects of pure joy with a fusion of depth and undercover darkness and with every listen I hear something new, as the complexities continue to surface. Holly’s vocals seem to add this wonderful air of mystery and intrigue and had me chasing the true meaning behind the “Twilight Hours”. I cannot wait to hear more.

I'm so impressed by the raw energy behind this track and I'm loving the undercover Kathleen Hanna-esque vibes. Messy garage rock with a killer punk soul.

You have made me feel like the stranger in your room as you wrote this song. The way you have managed to translate such an intimate setting to the masses honestly blows me away. Almost Kubrick-esque in your approach. Tell me all of your secrets.

Loving the undercover lo-fi aspect of this! Every verse builds so well with that rift creating such a great lead up to the chorus. It's just punchy as hell.

Such an incredible song writer and my ears are so thankful for another Alex Lahey track! An incredibly down to earth and relatable song, with such an unmistakable air of nonchalance that works so well lyrically. When that tone is paired with the incredibly catchy indie pop Lahey is adored for, it's obviously a killer tune for sure.

I really love how this track sweetly builds and seems to evolve as you listen through. Before you know it, you're reaching for the volume and the windows are down. The vocals are wonderful, a story woven through melody.

Im always honest in these reviews but I usually keep a little something in the back pocket... but in this case I'm holding nothing back. Hannah's vocals make me weak at the knees! I honestly cannot wait to see this track live and to have...

I love the way “Love and War” builds almost effortlessly from a chilled out folk-like tune to such an epic sounding jam session. The sweet warm sound of that guitar totally drew me into this track.

Such remarkable songwriting, rich with everything we have all felt at one time or another. There is really an addictive sense of vulnerability about her voice, that I honestly love. I’m onto my sixth play for the day.

Early MGMT-like blissful soft electronica mixed with that dreamy 70s sound. Crepes make me long for sunshine. Exactly what I needed on a long walk back from a hungover Sunday morning.
