An electronic sound scape with a very organic, Australian feel. I can hear the Cicadas, I can hear bugs crawling over dead leaves & I can feel the chill & purple of dusk. Samples are tidy but raw. The true work of a perfectionist! She's polished the smooth ares until they shine & roughed up her beats up, leaving them frayed & cracked. Oh and then, yes, she sings like a pret...

Very nice! Lovely & melodic. You can't compare this band to either Belle & Sebastian, Clap your Hands Say Yeah or The Libertines but there's a hairs width of all three in this tops work song. If you like lovely things like summer, long island iced teas & boys, then this song will get you in the mood for all three. Also, this song moves like a movie soundtrack & will ma...

If you like lovely things like summer, long island iced teas & boys, then this song will get you in the mood for all three. Also, this song moves like a movie soundtrack & will make you want to act on the above three things simultaneously at a drive in theatre. They don't sound too British as well (which I think is a good thing since we come from Australia).

.5 stars Oh, well this track is very ambient & electronic. I think it's best suited for late night train trips home after a long hard day at Uni, cocktail parties and sunday afternoons (the weekend wind down).

Moody, sparse, melancholic. With crying guitars and breathy vocals both sweet & strong. This song is seductive & distant. I love it! I'm also getting a little hot cos aren't they from Brisbane? I've never heard of them or seen them before now, which goes to show the system works. Thank you Unearthed Jukebox I'm going to their next gig.

Is there such a thing as folk-funk? Probably ( LOL I look like a true nerd!). Well, this song is funky, folky, catchy and sweet. Kinda like if The Waifs wrote a song for The Violent Femmes & then decided to keep it for themselves. Best listening time is 9 to 10 a.m. & then anytime after that.

This song transports me back to my favourite era in music. The 90s! Please let Running With Horses support L.A. indie band Giant Drag sometime soon. If so, you'd find me in a corner blissing! out! Groaning guitars & slack grunge drums topped off by this ladies husky, careless voice! So appealing, pull me up a mattress & let's watch the ceiling.
