An interesting concept that feels like a grand gesture and expedition over multiple directions that you have to dedicate yourself to get through. I wonder how this translates live v. listening to it in your own space. If it was more psychedelic, I wonder if it would have more of an epic feel, perhaps?

Today is one of those days, and this is the jam.

This sound is a little outside of my usual listen but, I really dug it. I wish the bass and drums were heavier to counteract all the high notes and frequency of the screamo parts. The choruses felt like they locked it a lot more.

That 60s optimistic aesthetic and simplistic musicality and style is palpable in this tune. Dreamy.

Musically strong.
Melodically there is room to grow but, heaps of potential for greatness.

Humble is the first word that comes to mind listening to this. You're the guy that no one wants to be THAT asshole to.

The way that both voices work together is cool, and the call and response section is my favourite part. I do feel like the mix could be worked on, especially around the vocals at the start of the song. It took a while for me to lock into the lyrics until the half waypoint. Still, the firm foundation of bluegrass roots is evident and appreciated.

I'm not the biggest fan of the production but, I think there are a lot of good ideas here that need tightening up.

"You wanted songs; I'll give you songs" probably the highlight of the whole experience of listening to this song. I don't know if you're playing a character or if that is your genuine vibe but, it's fantastic. Sweet tune too. Your voice is rich and deep and carries the Americana/country sentiment well.

I'm drifting in the delights of the production of this song; it's minimal. Rightly so, as the weight of the lyrical content and delivery is heavy like a firm hug.
