It feels as if I'm listening to that classic dark heavy metal that you'd hear in a Guitar Hero tracklist, next to bands like Children of Bodom, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. And that bass tone is d i r t y and gritty. Picture this: Psychedelic Porn Crumpets mid existential crisis, prepared for DOOM; that's Kitchen Witch. Mesmerised, you've definitely cast a spell on me.

That riff is so jarring to hear (is that a major scale??) within the mix of a brutal song. It's explosive, it's super heavy, it's wild and easily competes with metal heavyweights of Australia. Absolutely banging work and lovely production, I can't wait to hear more!

Woah, definitely not what I was expecting. This track builds and just soars. Really beautiful vocal tones + performance. Simple but effective guitar solo plus the ebb and flow of the song is so peaceful even though it has some heavy 'ooft' moments. So impressed.

I didn't know I needed this until I heard it. Girl power heaven. My anthem for me and my girl friends forever. I can hear and just imagine this song blasting out in nightclubs around the country, especially the ones in Adelaide. Represent.

This song feels reminiscent, dreamy, almost like I've been hit in the stomach with feels and a wild mix of emotions. It sounds very Birds of Tokyo with spacious vibes. Really enjoyed the middle section; the rhythm section playing short and strong notes and the lead guitar playing long palm muted notes, it works like bliss. Adding this to my favourite songs of 2020 for sure.

Okay, I'm a pineapple cruiser kind of gal but this song has me craving a guava. National anthem for all those guava lovers out there, I know about 20 people who'll probably sing this every drinking sesh from now on. I love the skit at the start of the song and it's a catchy and fun tune!

King Gizz, step over plahleaaaase. This is where the real show is at. The harmony in the chorus gave me goosebumps. I love The Empty Threats endlessly, what a solid band. Keep bringing those goods and those ridiculously good gigs xx

Who run the world? Girls. Beyoncé and Little Mix vibes here. Impressive stuff. Feels like I'm listening to a seasoned girlband that has been doing this for years. Great harmonies, great beat, phenomenal band.

God, I love this band. Such a lyrically descriptive and mood setting track. The guitar part in the pre-chorus had me jamming out before going straight back to vibing to the chorus. Is there anything Neon Tetra can't do?

ARIES!! I've been waiting for this stunning debut for ages and I'm completely blown away. Moody, sultry, groovy, silky smooth, this track is a sexy 'stick it to 'em' anthem. Solid stuff per usual from DoD. Upbeat heavy and melodic banger. DoD, are you incapable of writing a catchy anthem-like choruses mixed in with solid instrumental sections? Sealed, packed, sent and delivered each time so well.

Wow, punk-rock hardcore goodness. I think YES YES YES YES YES. Um and thank you for a bass solo. That bridge with the dissonant notes impressed me, and the ending of the song really topped it off nicely. Double time - icing on the cake.

First six seconds and I was already impressed. And it just got better from there on. I seriously love that lyric more than anything. "You could be the one. I could be the zero." Wow. The track is produced to perfection. I feel like the song could've had one more chorus at the end of it to polish it off but other than that, damn. Nostalgic alternative rock tunes for days.

Uh huh, yes thank you, this is glorious. This song sounds like it will go off in a live setting. With a relatable chorus that people can scream along to, this song gave me goosebumps. Thank you for my favourite new pop punk track. Big love.
