Bringing their everything to every show, they earned themselves a spot on FReeZA’s Push Start stage at St Kilda Festival playing to an audience of over 5,000 in 2018; a big achievement for a band who were yet to officially release any music. It was this opportunity, plus their awe-inspiring talent that landed them the APRA AMCOS Songwriting Award, capturing the attention of industry professionals. By the time they released their debut single ‘Invincible’ in March of 2018 people were listening. The song received signification rotation on stations in the US, whilst also being added to commercial radio stations Nova and KIIS101.1 on the date of its launch. In late 2018, Sarahj. released their Debut EP ‘Reaper’; scoring a spot on the top 20 Australian album charts, right next to the likes of Good Charlotte and Paramore. Not only did they manage to sell out the Reverence Hotel for the launch of ‘Reaper’, they also sold over a hundred hard copies of the EP at the show. This incredible response to their live performances, in addition to the growing number of social media followers and viewers only proves Sarahj.’s ability to capture an audience. Over the past year, Sarahj. has been working on their sophomore EP, due for release everywhere on February 29th, 2020! They’re incredibly excited to share with you their growth as a band with their next release; taking you through darker avenues with a discovery of raw emotion through personal battles, mental health, individuality and passion.
