Oscar Bosch is a musician, recording artist, and songwriter from Hobart, Tasmania. Predominantly recognized as the guitarist from the Tasmanian band ‘JENSEN’ (winner of the “2016 FALLS FESTIVAL Foster a Band Competition” and “Rock Challenge 2015”) he is also a multi-instrumentalist involved with several musical acts and projects. Fortunately, Oscar has been an avid live performer throughout Tasmania (and parts of VIC, NSW, and QLD) for 7+ years, making up one side of Oscar’s musical experiences. Whilst the other side is made up of his time spent in the studio - resulting in a handful of works to show for it, some released and some yet to be. Oscar has performed and produced a number of EP’s and Albums including: “JENSEN”, a “self-titled” EP released in 2015, followed by an album in 2017 entitled “HOPE & WINTER”. Throughout the years 2016 & 2017 Oscar worked with Tasmanian singer-songwriter ‘KAT EDWARDS’ coming up with her debut EP. With 2017 seeing the release of “SUNK” - singles, “Stranger in My Room” and “Darling” found international attention and national airplay on ‘TRIPLE J’. In 2017 Oscar joined forces with Hobart group ’LITTLE ISLAND’ on the drum kit. The band quickly came to form and after some consecutive gigging and attention ’LITTLE ISLAND’ took to the studio. Leaving with a debut EP underway - next, single “Hazy” was released. “Hazy” managed for a spin on national radio via ‘TRIPLE J’ and “DIFFERENT DAYS” was later released in 2018. When not performing or recording with bands - Oscar finds himself creating his own music. Going by the name of “FRANCISCO”, he writes and records music within his own home. In the situation of this solo project, Oscar plays all instruments himself, solely bringing songs to life with only him at the wheel. A position enabling intrinsic creation.
