Kealoana Stevenson is a soulful R&B singer, natural songwriter and live performer. Born and bred in Brisbane Australia, Kealoana was homeschooled around musicians, listening to her mother & aunties sing in church and watching her father, a multi instrumentalist, gig on weekends. Drawing inspiration from a lot of 80’s & 90’s r&b/soul artists like D’Angelo, Babyface, Anita Baker and Amy Winehouse as well as artists of today such as Ari Lennox, H.E.R, Anderson Paak and Snoh Alegra, Kealoana writes better from personal experience as well as the stories of those around her. Since then Kealoana released her R&B/Soul and jazz inspired EP titled “Someone Else” streaming on Spotify and AppleMusic. After listening to her track 'Permission' Basil Cook from ABC Records had this to say, "...You have to be lying to me about her age! there is some real maturity in there, and an instinctive way of delivering that feels way past “mid-20’s”!"
