Unearthed Listeners I'm following:

‘From the rolling hills of South East Melbourne, Lili-Violet is what Lana Del Ray and Odette in a boxing ring would sound like. At just 19, Lily was the winner of the 2019 and 2020 Cardinia Shire Music Residency Programs which provided the opportunity to work with producers and songwriters James Seymour (Feelds, Merpire), Jarred Young (Bad Pony) & Katie Wighton (All Our Exes Live in Texas, KIT). Recorded in a makeshift studio in a disused bakery in Emerald, ‘Doesn’t Mean You’re Lonely’ is Lily’s debut release produced by James Seymour. Lily’s delicate yet raspy vocals create a sweetness that cuts through the washed-out guitars that develop into one hell of an anthemic chorus. Lily reflects on the song: “I wrote it to break the stigma of mental health in a positive light. It’s about a suicide that happened in my home town Emerald and how the death impacted the community” Fresh off a headline slot at Ignite Youth Festival and hot out of the studio, Lili-Violet's newly formed three-piece band and releases due mid-late 2020, are sure to make you want more.
