This track is somewhat reminiscent of Mercury Rev and John Butler Trio. Nice bluesy grooves are sure to get feet a-stompin everywhere. Man I dig that guitar sound!

Yes! Australia's answer to N.E.R.D. A very tight sound and infectious grooves - I'd love to hear this song slowed down a bit though, I reckon it could be a huge hit.

Dang! This is good. Kinda like Moby (especially the samples used in 'Play'), but alot darker and 'british' feeling. It's great, perfect for late night chillout.

Good not great. Quite Franz Ferdinand inspired. Poppy, but not entirely memorably catchy though. A good effort.

Great samples, nice beats. Top job. Sounds a bit like Severed Head's 'Dead Eyes Opened'

A pretty good song, but with the explosion of the indie-brit sound spawning endless clone bands it is hard for anyone to stand out. This song is quite catchy. Not a bad effort.

Nice little cruisy song. I'm a bit of a fan of the vocals and I would've preferred the guitar solo to be a bit more prominent, but overall quite a good song. File under 'attempted Massive Attack'

Wow! Nice use of angry rap over chilled beats. This is the best of ABLFC's songs. I love it.

Gorgeous little number which probably owes a large debt to 'Chariots of Fire.' Very chilled and relaxed. Sweet!

Very underproduced raw sound adds to the stoner-rock appeal of this staggered eclectic tune. The vocalist dips into a somewhat Les Claypool sound at times. A very 'Sonic Youth' feel to this. Good effort.

It started of really great, and I thought it was going to build up towards something really good - but it didnt go anywhere until right at the end, and even then I still wanted it to go further. You guys will be good if you push the sound a bit.

Sounds like a mix of Trent Reznor and Quan Yeomans fronting a very Queens of the Stone Age-ish band. I really like it - but would probably love it if it was less poppy.

Quirky Queens of the Stone Age type feel, with Sum 41 sounding vocals. Nice and melodramatic with a hint of vaudeville (kinda The Killers meets Dresden Dolls) but overall a solid rock song.

Probably the fastest and most punk track from Von Rock - but when I say punk I mean punk-pop. Good not great, and while it is probably my least favourite Von Rock song - it is still damn good.

Plenty of grunt and gore makes this little punk number a gem. Has a bit of a Mark of Cain feel to it and is not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach. Good times!

A pretty damn good dance tune bound to set club floors alight with its trancey sound. Nice melody that gives the song an added layer and gives it an extra dimension.

Has a very Dresden Dolls, with a sprinkling of Muse feel to the song. I would have preferred a stronger vocal performance, but the music has a very good theatrical quality to it. Would go great on a movie soundtrack.

My favourite of the Kage songs. Love the use of the organ. This track has really great range and experimentation - highs and lows and the wonderful in between. Kage should make for a brilliant live show in an intimate club.

This is a great tune - but lasts less than a minute. I feel unsatisfied and wanting more.
