I first heard this angelic voice a few years back in an old pub on the Mornington Peninsula. It was a lovely experience to see such talent light up a small muso night. Years later and MacGregors original EP still gets played on repeat from my Itunes. Don't assume she's a one or two hit wonder either. All her compositions aesthetically and symbolically weave grace, warmth and a sense of confidence she is capable of executing the moment her fingers strum guitar strings. 'Wake me up' is a beautifully eloquent song, but my favorite by far is "Peas and Beans"

This is the poor girl I see on the train heading home from the city while I go to work at 7am every Monday morning. At least that’s the story I create for her when I see her low cut dress, dire expression and running ‘mascara’ – It’s a rad song, because I can relate to it. That’s what great music’s all about. Two thumbs up kids.
